The purpose of this vlog, is to give you clear and easy guidelines to ensure you are getting healthy fats into your diet. In my last article, we spoke about the benefits of healthy fats and now I can show you the ones we personally use in our house.

Remember that all of your cell membranes require fats and that healthy fats do not make you fat!

They also help us feel full longer and help regulate our blood sugar.

When we consume too many industrial seed oils (such as canola oil, corn and soybean oil) they contain too many omega-six fats which, when over consumed, can produce an inflammatory response in the body. These are the oils used in the majority of processed foods and condiments.

One of our goals should be to reduce the amount of processed foods and oils and this is one of the reasons why.

A lot of our recommendations are based on slowing down aging and trying to reduce inflammation in the body. Most of the lifestyle diseases that will reduce your lifespan can be influenced by our everyday choices.

For a lot of our food related recommendations, it all begins with your grocery shopping. Take the time to read the labels and try and cut out as many processed foods as possible.

Yes it will take you a little longer at first but once you know exactly what your good options are you will see a huge benefit in the long run!
