Baking at Home: Easy Ways You Can Reduce Your Sugar Consumption

Over the years I’ve learned a lot from my patients and clients about people’s connection to food and one thing is clear - the emotional connection people feel to food during the holidays is stronger than any other time.
So why do I still recommend that you change out your family’s traditional recipes for the ones listed below? Because I really don’t want people to lose ground over the holidays and we can all start to do better. Reducing your sugar consumption could have a massive impact on your overall health, so why not start now?
Some of the recipes call for sugar alternatives like monk fruit or erythritol. These can often be found at your grocery store in the health section, Costco or if you are local to Halifax, Parks Health Shop.
