What Are You Truly Capable of & What is Holding You Back?

What are we truly capable of?

As you may have guessed, my fundamental belief system is that our bodies have unlimited healing potential and this belief guides all of the decisions I make regarding health and wellness.

Over the last 18 years, I have seen some amazing health transformations and they are always achieved by unlocking the person’s true healing potential. 

In my experience, there are traditionally three stressors that can “block” you from healing and these can be identified by asking the following questions:

  1. Are you experiencing physical stress?
  2. Are you experiencing chemical stress? 
  3. Are you experiencing mental/emotional stress?

It is important to identify where your true “block” is coming from so that the approach taken ensures that your healing potential becomes unlimited. 

For instance, if you are experiencing physical misalignment, tightness, stiff joints, and as a result of these issues have pain and inflammation in your body, then you need to focus on what is causing the inflammation in order to remove it and have the pain subside. 

If you have digestive stress, modifying the types of foods that you are consuming will reduce the irritation of your gut lining and eventually remove the symptoms you are experiencing.

For those of you who suffer from frequent headaches, it may be your body’s way to get your attention because of the amount of emotional and mental stress that you are experiencing from a work-related or financial situation that you are struggling with.

Once it is determined which category the stress is most prominent in, figuring out strategies on how you can reduce those stressors will allow the body to heal as it was designed to do.

Ask yourself: Am I addressing the symptoms of my problem or the cause?

I am so passionate about this approach to healing that I have created a “blueprint for health” which is a tool that I use with my clinical practice patients and health coaching clients to determine the best next steps in their health journey.
